Currently their is a little competition going on as to who has the highest score on Brave Temple Run (an app) on their tablets. Currently Daddy is in the lead after taking over Walker's top score!

Lately this had been the temp...

This has been running a lot more than usual and we can all be found huddling around it at times...

There has been lots of movie watching and tablet playing while being curled up with blankets...

Even Willow has been napping on her blanket...

Today is the last of the lazy days of vacation... Monday it's back to work and school for the kiddos and me... it has been a great 2 weeks off!!

Christmas came and went with a blur...

The biggest squeals this year was the Nexus 7 tablet...

Let the countdown begin... kiddos were excited to each have their own advent calendar this year.

Walker had been wanting to put up the Christmas village as soon as the boxes came out so I decided that this was the year to let him help put it all up... he was beyond thrilled!

Thanksgiving.. oh my were we ever thankful for this sight... since the stove broke a week before the big turkey day!

We stayed in our jammies for most of the day... watching the parade and football games... kiddos actually dined in them as well... yeah we were going for the laid back approach this year..

After dinner we thought we'd head to Walmart to get some of the dvd specials... evidently the rest of Idaho decided to attend our store as well... All these people were in the grocery area just for the movies... It was OH MY... OVERWHELMING to say the least.

We were able to snag a few movie deals but mostly just grabbed and ran to the check out... we actually had to park a good distance away since the entire Walmart parking lot was full... a rare sight... so glad it was our one and only stop... we are so not the early bird special type.

We got the Christmas decorations out...

Mulan immediately found her spot for the season... under the tree..

And Walker found his beloved Santa hat which has been permanently attached to his head...

There was gingerbread house making...

A nighttime light parade downtown and lastly sitting outside in the front yard with hot cocoa watching the Christmas in the Sky fireworks... fun times!

Having a dog sure makes life interesting... especially when she decides to dig up your internet cable...

Or when she decided the thermometer was a tasty treat... still wondering as to what happened to the batteries??

The kiddos have officially gotten over their dog fear and love playing outside with Willow... but not so much when she steals your snowman pieces... ha!

But seriously how could you stay mad at this cute lil' face and those sweet puppy eyes...

She's definitely a keeper though... and loved tons.

Walker had his very first recital this week... he was pretty quiet waiting... leaned over to me and said, "My heart is beating really fast!"

He played "Wind in the Trees" and then was joined by Daddy to play Old McDonald as a duet... he did awesome though and when it was all said and done enjoyed it.

Ainsley played "The Legend of the Buffalo" by herself... check out the outfit, I let her pick out what she wanted to wear... how fitting a skirt with leggings and high top shoes... that's so her right now.

She too wanted to do a duet with Daddy... they played Kaleidoscope Colors.

Saturdays we sit in the stands and cheer on Ainsley's Basketball team.

She isn't a die hard competitive sports lover but is she's learning the rules of the game and having fun.  She's more of a play so that I can hang out with my friends type of girl!

Walker has gone through 3 pairs of pants this week!!!  Two of them were not even a month old.

We have been so incredibly lucky this fall... we've actually had fabulous fall weather the past few weeks and we've been loving every minute of it.  Everyday the kiddos are up in the trees playing...
