Oh Summer where have you gone???  Hard to believe we are down to 3 weeks left!!! We are starting to get things organized for school... on Monday we will start getting back on the school schedule to eliminate those "I can't get up" mornings when school does start.  Then it will be school supplies... lunch and breakfast ideas... grocery shopping... kid clothes shopping and squeezing in the last little bit of summer.

Currently wishing I was back here soaking up all of nature...

This was the scene a week ago...

Yep she's officially wearing contacts... thought we'd try them out over the summer to see if she likes them.  So far so good... she loves to be able to look down and not see the frame around her eyes.  Slowly we are getting use to this new look on the girlie... so cute.

One of my favorite things about taking pictures is taking the same picture scene year after year... love these kiddos so!

This cute girl has a reputation of eating toys that fly over into our back yard...

Over the weekend our back yard neighbors were having a party and so I went out with Willow so she wouldn't be a bother.  The cute little neighbor 1st grader yelled, "Willow's out... everyone stop playing!"  Ha.  Luckily she hasn't eaten any balls for months... the neighbor kiddo must be getting better on his aim!

The past week has been all about the kiddos teeth.  Ainsley got her gum lazered with a bracket and wire put on so that a tooth could finally come down in her mouth.  She was on the couch with ice cream, applesauce and Ibuprofen for a few days.

And Walker had 2 baby teeth pulled so the permanent ones could come down in the correct place... he too was on the ice cream meal.

At the moment they both could care less about having nice teeth later in life!

After I posted the Anniversary picture earlier in the day this happened.

The story... The wind started to pick up in the early evening and Stewart says, "I think I'll take down the umbrella" as he is walking to the door the wind picks it up and slams it down on the table breaking the glass into a bazillion pieces!  We both stare in astonishment of the mess and the glass that is EVERYWHERE. Fun time I tell you picking glass out of the grass and deck boards!

Here's the kicker... our 15th Wedding Anniversary traditional gift is crystal/glass... Ha.  I find the humor in it now but not at the time!

I love when little things surprise you...

This morning I noticed that my favorite yellow roses have just started blooming.  Nothing like a bright spot of yellow first thing in the morning to make you smile!

Love cool nights on the deck with Root beer floats and chocolate shakes...

Ainsley has been begging non-stop to wash the dogs.  I knew it was going to need extra hands but after the constant begging I said, "Fine just do it!"

Ha... Luna wanted none of that!!  There were two more attempts with treats in hand but she stayed as far away from the kiddos as possible.  Gotta love the look on Luna's face!
