Science Project...

The first project of the new year was for Walker's science class.  They were to make a model of the ocean floor.

First up... homemade air drying clay to form the structures. It was quite an interesting combination of ingredients... water, cornstarch and baking soda... ended up using 2 boxes of baking soda and an entire box of cornstarch.  You actually cook it on the stove... was so weird but effective for the project...

The next day he painted and labeled the ocean floor. I ended up taking him to school early in the morning the next day so he didn't have to worry about it on the bus! He did an AWESOME job... and actually enjoyed making it!

Found out yesterday he received a 100% on the project... yea!! Nice job Bug.
